Sausage and peppers in the slow cooker.

This is a very simple recipe of sausages and vegetables, your family will be happy from such a combination of ingredients in addition, this dish is very versatile and it can pick up a garnish at will, well let’s not waste time and go to the recipe itself.

What ingredients are needed:

  • Italian sausage
  • Peppers – you can use the same color or different colors, there is no difference, it looks better with different colors.
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Spices – peppers, salt, italian seasoning, red chili flakes
  • Marinara sauce
  • Parsley

Cooking guide:

  1. you need to add the vegetables and sausage to the slow cooker, season with marinara sauce, add seasoning, and mix everything thoroughly.
  2. Then turn on the slow cooker and start cooking, you have two options: slow which takes 6-7 hours on low heat or faster which takes 3-4 hours on high heat, it’s up to you to decide how to do it, I would advise on low heat
  3. When ready, take the sausages out and cut them into small pieces and put them back in the slow cooker.
  4. After that you can eat it without garnish or with your choice of garnish.

Garnish:

In fact, there is no right answer to the question of which side dish is better to serve, so my advice – do what your family likes best. if you want to surprise your family, I can recommend you this side dish, it is very tasty, you can also use: rice, pasta, mashed potatoes, and in the end you can also use bread
